Egypt joined the ILO on 19 June 1936. The ILO supports government, workers' and employers' organizations in Egypt in the application of Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt’s vision 2030. The organization's office in Cairo was established in 1959. More about the ILO Office in Cairo.
