Integrated policy response on employment and social protection in the context of COVID-19 crisis mitigation and recovery, supported by social dialogue
Due to this project the capacity of constituents to implement international labour standards on employment (Convention 122) and social protection (Convention 102, Recommendation 202) through social dialogue and design and delivery of integrated employment and social protection policies will be increased.

Access project dashboardThe MoLSA and social partners will be supported to finalize and implement a new Employment Strategy, extend social protection coverage, analyze social protection expenditure and identify fiscal space for social protection, strengthen employment services and promote social dialogue.
Project’s interventions will create synergies between employment services, social assistance and contributory programmes through the ISSCs network (co-location of social and employment services), improving case management methods; designing and piloting training on case-management for social workers and job counselors in selected locality; linking up specific measures targeted on specific groups; and developing a new service delivery model.
Expected project outcomes include enhanced coordination between employment and social service; established gender responsive mechanisms for increased reintegration into the labour market of unemployed people, established gender-responsive mechanisms for increased workers’ employability and transition to permanent jobs, diversified and more sustainable social protection system budget, improved trade unions’ strategies, etc.
