Members of the Committee of Experts are appointed in a personal capacity by the ILO Governing Body, based on criteria of independence, impartiality and technical expertise, for a three-year term, renewable for maximum four additional terms.
Qualified persons who wish to be considered for this vacancy should send a confidential letter expressing their interest in the position, including a statement outlining the reasons and motivation for the application, together with a detailed CV describing the candidate’s relevant experience and expertise. They shall be submitted electronically to CEACRvacancy@ilo.org.
For the purpose of this call, to maintain geographical balance within the Committee of Experts in its current composition, expressions of interest are only invited from nationals of North America, Central America, Central and Eastern Europe and Southern Africa.
