This thematic brief focuses on skills and employability issues in the digital financial services sector and it is the first in a series of briefs zooming in on the findings and analysis resulting from the study “Harnessing the potential of digital technologies to achieve decent work in the financial sector: Policies and practices on the impact of digitalization in the sector (2024) conducted by the ILO and FinValue Advisors. The brief aims to emphasize key aspects of decent work in the financial sector in the context of digitalization. It explores how stakeholders tackle workforce adaptation challenges focused on skills and employability.
