Decent Work and the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) in Japan: Twelve dialogues

This report provides an overview of the SSE landscape in Japan, offering diverse perspectives from key stakeholders, including government, social partners, the SSE, and academia. It follows the adoption of the resolution concerning decent work and the SSE by the International Labour Conference at its 110th session in 2022. It delves into the reception of the international tripartite definition of the SSE in Japan, identifies influential actors and outlines strategies to further promote the SSE within the Japanese context, including recommendations for engagement by the ILO Constituents and the Office.
