Bahamas
On 25th May 1976 the Commonwealth of The Bahamas became a member of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Since then, the country's Government, employers' organizations and workers' organizations have engaged with the ILO to address a range of labour-related priorities including jobs and skills; productivity; worker and enterprise resilience; social dialogue; and governance.
The Bahamas is currently implementing a Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) between 2021 and 2026, which sets out the common commitment to achieve decent work and social justice. It is available for download below.
